Join Kidical Mass for a slow, easy-going, fun, group ride focused on kids (all ages) and families that will tour Portage Park park and other nearby neighborhood parks.

Gather at Portage Park, 4010 N Long (near Cuyler & Long) at 9:15 am for a 9:30am departure. Each ride will end at a fun destination in the community.

RIDE GUIDELINES:

• Please wear helmets and ride safely.

• Rides are typically 2-4 miles at a 5-6 mph pace, roughly 1 hour with stops.

• Rides are suitable for children who have progressed beyond training wheels.

• Younger children are welcome on trail-a-bikes, child trailers and child seats on their parent's bike.

• Festive dress and decorations encouraged.

• It is expected that all kids bring a parent or guardian with a bike.

• This event will be canceled in the event of rain. Check out Portage Park Kidical Mass Facebook group for updates.

9/17/23 - Ride to Dunham and then back to Portage Park Farmers Market

10/1/23 - Ride to TBD (help us choose!) and then back to Portage Park Farmers Market

10/22/23 - Ride to Jefferson Park Farmer Market
