Join Irving Park Kidical Mass for a slow, easy-going, fun, group ride focused on kids (all ages) and families that will tour the Irving Park neighborhood.

We'll meet at Independence Park playground, near the corner of Byron and Hamlin. We'll gather between 10am - 10:25 for a 10:30am departure. 

This ride kicks off May 19th, followed by the 2nd Sunday of the month from June through December. Each ride will end at a fun destination in the community such as a nature play area, neighborhood park, or forest preserve. 

RIDE GUIDELINES:

• Please wear helmets and ride safely.

• Rides are typically 2-4 miles at a 5-6 mph pace, roughly 1 hour with stops.

• Rides are suitable for children who have progressed beyond training wheels.

• Younger children are welcome on trail-a-bikes, child trailers and child seats on their parent's bike.

• Festive dress and decorations encouraged.

• It is expected that all kids bring a parent or guardian with a bike.

• May - September rides will ride rain or shine

• October - December rides will be cancelled in case of inclement weather
