Join Kidical Mass for a slow, easy-going, fun, group ride focused on kids (all ages) and families that will tour Arlington Heights and nearby.
Gather at the south end of Harmony Park (near Hey Nonny) at 9 am for a 9:15 am departure. Please remember to walk your wheels within Alfresco!
Each ride will end at a fun destination in the community (See schedule below!)
RIDE GUIDELINES
- Please wear helmets and ride safely.
- Rides are typically 3-4 miles at a 5-6 mph pace, roughly 1 hour with stops.
- Rides are suitable for children who have progressed beyond training wheels.
- Younger children are welcome on trail-a-bikes, child trailers and child seats on their parent's bike.
- Festive dress and decorations encouraged.
- It is expected that all kids bring a parent or guardian with a bike, and each adult is ultimately responsible for any young people they bring with them and deciding what’s safe and appropriate for you and your group.
This event will not ride in severe weather, but light sprinkles are okay! Cancellations will be announced on the event page by 8:00 a.m.
